Move Of the Moment: Wide squats
During pregnancy, our bodies are working so hard to create a healthy baby that we tend to lose muscle mass while gaining fat to protect our babies. Plus with the ventilatory changes, it's harder to work as hard as we could before.
These wide or sumo squats are great to engage the outer and inner thighs, gluts, quads and hammies - they've got it all! This helps us challenge our muscles for the day we need to push thru delivery then play with these sweet babies!
We particularly love these to add a safer balance challenge for those 3rd trimester mamas out there!
