Sometimes it feels like as mothers we are walking on a tight rope....even a small pull or push in one direction will throw us off. When this happens, find your center by asking yourself what's the most important thing in your life right now?
From that center you can add other things, remembering that they can't also be the most important. You may find there are items that just don't make the cut right now and that's ok! You can only handle 1-2 priorities (even thought it feels everything should be a priority at times!). It's ok to say, "No" or "Not right now", and come back to those things when you have the emotional and physical space to do so.
Now get back on that tight rope with your arms open and head held high, knowing you are BALANCED once again!
